Cancellation of the Vesting in the Eyre County Council and
Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Coun-
cillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Eyre and revokes
the reservation for gravel-pit purposes over the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

RESERVE 1294, situated in Block X, Mairaki Survey District:
Area, 5 acres, more or less (S.O. 436).

Licensing Eric Samuel David Burke, Bruce Henry Jaggar,
Bruce Dunbar Grant, Leo Russell Burrow, Keith William
George Vial, Lloyd Arthur Hook, Curtis Philip Capon, and
Roger Frederick James, to Use and Occupy a Part of the
Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Hina Hina as a Site for
a Boat Shed and Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Eric Samuel David Burke, Bruce
Henry Jaggar, Bruce Dunbar Grant, Leo Russell Burrow,
Keith William George Vial, Lloyd Arthur Hook, Curtis Philip
Capon, and Roger Frederick James (hereinafter called the
licensees, which term shall include their administrators,
executors or assigns unless the context requires a different
construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and
bed of the sea at Hina Hina as shown on plan marked
M.D. 11603 and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and main-
taining thereon a boat shed and slipway as shown on the
said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the
licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set
forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
    tions 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
    far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the licensees shall be £5 and
    the annual sum so payable shall be £8.
  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of November 1963.

Licensing the Outboard Boating Club of Northland (Inc.)
to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of
the Sea at Waikaraka as a Site for a Boat Ramp

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits the Outboard Boating Club of
Northland (Incorporated) (hereinafter called the licensee,
which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the
context requires a different construction), to use and occupy
a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waikaraka, as
shown on plan marked M.D. 11656 and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the
purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a boat ramp
as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and
enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and
conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
    tions 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall,
    so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of November 1963.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 and
    the annual sum so payable £3.

Amendment of Foreshore Licence Authorising D. R. Curry,
D. F. C. Elphingston-Jolly, D. M. Matich, T. R. Matich,
and F. Yorke to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore
and Bed of the Harbour at Ruawai as a Site for a Wharf

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby amends the licence of 9 August 1960 licensing
Douglas Reginald Curry, David Frederick Charles Elphingston-
Jolly, Douglas Milton Matich, Tasman Ronald Matich, and
Ferguson Yorke, fishermen, to use and occupy a part of the
foreshore and bed of the harbour at Ruawai as a site for a
wharf by inserting after the symbols, "M.D. 10459" the
symbols "and M.D. 11644".

Minister of Education hereby notifies that the premises
situated as listed in the Schedule below are estab-
lished as an institution within the meaning of the said Act
and shall be known by the name shown in the Schedule.

Scheme of Control of the Waitaki High Schools

PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the
Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the
scheme of control of the Waitaki High School, published in
the Gazette of 15 July 1915, Volume II, page 2450, and
approves of all schools for the time being under the control
of the Waitaki High School Board being controlled in
accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for
Secondary Schools 1961:*
Provided that:
(a) Clause 10 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if
the words "in the first week of the month of May"
were omitted, and the words "in the first week of
the month of June" were substituted therefor.
(b) Clause 20 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if
the words "1st day of June" were omitted, and the
words "1st day of July" were substituted therefor.
(c) Clause 29 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if
the words "in the month of June" were omitted, and
the words "in the month of July" were substituted
therefor.
(d) Paragraph (5) of the Schedule to the Standard Scheme
shall be read as if the words "21 days" were omitted,
and the words "28 days" were substituted therefor.
(e) Paragraph (9) of the Schedule to the Standard Scheme
shall be read as if:
(a) The words "fourteenth day" were omitted, and
the words "twenty-first day" were substituted there-
for.
(b) The words "fifteenth day of any month" were
omitted, and the words "twenty-second day of any
month" were substituted therefor.
(f) The Standard Scheme shall be read as if clause 18 were
revoked, and the clause numbered 18, set out in the
Schedule hereto, were substituted therefor.

SCHEDULE
CLAUSE to be substituted for clause 18 of the Standard
Scheme:
"18. (1) Except in the case of a casual vacancy or as
otherwise provided in subclause (2) of this clause, every
member shall hold office until the 30th day of June in the
third year after the year of his election or appointment, and
if on that 30th day of June the appointment or election of his
successor has not been notified to the Board, he shall con-
tinue to hold office until the date on which that appointment
or election is notified.
(2) Every member of the Board as it is constituted on
the 30th day of June 1964 shall go out of office on that
date."
