The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Specification (Government Purchasing Series) No. D. 7591: Electric Potato-peeling Machines (Revision of N.Z.S.S. GP 31:1956)

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft of the New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 15 November 1963.

Land in the Nelson Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY

SECTIONS 41, 42, 43, and 46 and part Section 45, Block VII, Tadmor Survey District, Waimea County: Area, 1,366 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 39, folio 106, and balance of certificates of title, Volume 136, folio 77, and Volume 37, folio 187. As shown on plan No. 108/102 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Tariff Notice No. 1963/67—Application for Withdrawal of Approval

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 4 (2) (b) of the Customs Acts Amendment Act 1961, that application has been made for the withdrawal of a decision of the Minister of Customs admitting, at concessionary rates of duty, the goods as described hereunder:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and

(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made for the withdrawal of the following goods from current decisions of the Minister of Customs permitting entry at concessionary rates of duty and for the future admission of such goods at the substantive rates of duty as shown:
