Licensing the Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd.
to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of
the Northern Wairoa River at Mangawhare as a Site for
a Jetty

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits the Northern Wairoa Co-operative
Dairy Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term
shall include its successors or assigns unless the context
requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part
of the foreshore and bed of the Northern Wairoa River at
Mangawhare, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8865 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington,
for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty as shown
on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the
licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set
forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of July 1963.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds (£3) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

Revoking Licence Authorising Richard Garde Hudson to Use
and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Lake Rotorua as a Site
for a Jetty

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine,
with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes, as from 1 July 1963, the licence of 5 July 1961* authorising Richard Garde Hudson to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Rotorua, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10975 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan.

Notice Relating to the Use of Insecticide Dibrom in
Slaughtering Places, Meat-Packing Houses, and Canneries
(Notice No. Ag. 7858)

Pursuant to regulation 3 (2) of the Stock (Insecticides and Oestrogens) Regulations 1961,* notice is hereby given that any insecticide containing as an active ingredient the chemical Dibrom may be used in:

(a) Any part of any premises in which meat or meat products are processed, packed, or stored, provided that no meat or meat products (except canned meat or canned meat products) are present at the time of application of the insecticide:
(b) Any part of any slaughtering place, meat-packing house, or cannery which is not used for the purpose of processing, packing, or storing meat or meat products:
(c) Any yard or other premises attached to a slaughtering place, meat-packing house, or cannery, provided that no stock is contained in such yard or premises at the time of application of the insecticide.

Notice to Make Payment of Land Tax Under the Land and
Income Tax Act 1954

Pursuant to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:

Land Tax on land held on the 31st day of March 1963 shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of October 1963 at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, or at any money-order post office.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Bay of Islands Development
Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 12 June 1930, published in the Gazette, 26 June 1930, Volume II, page 2054, and a notice dated 15 September 1930, and published in the Gazette, 25 September 1930, Volume III, page 2851.
