24 of the Gaming Amendment Act 1963, Appointed, for "Mrs
Susan Amy Barnicoat, o.b.e." read "Mrs Susan Amy Barni-
coat, M.B.E."

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Maheno
to the Purposes of a Road
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the
publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that the
said road shall be under the control of the Waitaki County
Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like
manner as other public highways are controlled and main-
tained by the said Council.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 23rd day of September 1963.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 6·7 perches situated in
Block VIII, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and
being part Lot 2, D.P. 41973, being part Allotment 114,
Pakuranga Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked M.O.W. 7539 (S.O. 42117) deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of September 1963.
