purpose of purchasing land at Wiri for an Administration Centre, reserves, and general county purposes, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five five pence (0·155d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, Ronald Wood, County Clerk of the Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 27th day of August 1963.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

WAIPAREIRA “C” SEWERAGE LOAN, No. 1, 1963—£252,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £252,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council, for the purpose of reticulating for sewerage that area of the Waipareira Riding generally known as Ranui-Lincoln Road, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 4·633d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within that portion of the Waipareira Riding Urban Drainage Area designated ‘C’ by Special Order dated 7 August 1962, and it further resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on 22 August 1963.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Lower Hutt Borough Empowering Act 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928 proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of every and any other power it thereunto enabling to execute a public work, namely the laying out and forming of a new street in the City and for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for street and in connection with street and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken, marked TP I/11, is deposited at the offices of the Council situate in the Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land should state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the above address.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928 proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of every and any other power it thereunto enabling to execute a certain public work, namely, for and in connection with public offices in the City of Lower Hutt and for and in connection with the purpose of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken, marked TP I/12, is deposited in the office of the Council, Administration Buildings, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or any of them who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands or any of them should state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the above address.

Schedule of lands to be taken for and in connection with public offices:

(1) All that piece of land situate in Laings Road in the City of Lower Hutt containing 36·93 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District and being also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 8513 and all the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 384, folio 118 (Wellington Registry).

(2) All that piece of land situate in Laings Road in the City of Lower Hutt containing 19·3 perches more or less being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District and being also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 1257 and all the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 134 folio 190 (Wellington Registry).

(3) All that piece of land situate in Laings Road in the City of Lower Hutt containing 24·5 perches, more or less, being part of Section 25 of the Hutt District and being also Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 1257 and all the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 160 folio 43 (Wellington Registry).
