Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Helensville

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Helensville Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Amending a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block III, Drury Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Proclamation dated the 5th day of July 1954, published in the Gazette, 1954, Volume II, page 1134 and registered as Proclamation No. 14260, North Auckland Land Registry (hereinafter termed “the former Proclamation”) defining the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, and Blocks III, IV, and VIII, Drury Survey District, is hereby so amended that the former Proclamation shall also affect the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 8296 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and on the plan marked P.W.D. 143667 referred to in the Schedule to the former Proclamation.

Defining the Middle Line of the Hamilton By-pass Motorway in the County of Waipa

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the Hamilton By-pass Motorway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 8379 referred to in the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the right bank of the Waikato River, approximately 10½ chains in a north-westerly direction generally, from the south-eastern corner of part Allotment 252, Kirikiriroa Parish, and proceeding thence in a south easterly direction generally, for a distance of approximately 50 chains, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands: namely Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. S.7724 (C.T. 889/120), Lots 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13, D.P. S.7724 (C.T. 889/120 and C.T. 900/192) and terminating at a point on Peacocks Road approximately one chain in a south-easterly direction generally from the westernmost point of Lot 8, D.P. S.7724, including all adjoining, and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses, all in the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8379 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of September 1963.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1963.
