Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Blocks XI and XV, Rangiriri Survey District, Borough of Huntly

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which, as to the land first and secondly described was taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato railway and as to the land thirdly described was acquired for the purposes of the Mercer-Newcastle railway and is not now required for those purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which is held for the Greymouth-Reefton Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of railway land containing 1 acre 2 roods 30·4 perches situated in Blocks III and VII, Mawheraiti Survey District, Nelson R.D.; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 8209 (S.O. 10274) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of August 1963.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of August 1963.
