Fixing the Number of Members to be Elected for Each Ward
of the Ruahine Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 7807)

PURSUANT to section 25A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Ruahine
Rabbit Board hereby declares that the number of members
to be elected for each ward of the Ruahine Rabbit District,
which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of
February 1963,* shall be the number specified in the Schedule
hereto opposite the name of the ward.

Ruahine Rabbit District Divided into Wards (Notice No. Ag.
7806)

PURSUANT to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Ruah-
hine Rabbit Board hereby declares the Ruahine Rabbit
District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the
1st day of February 1963, * to be divided into wards having
the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF KIWIT EA WARD
All that area in the Ruahine Rabbit District, Kiwitea County
and part Rangitikei County, containing 270,000 acres, more
or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 2
(Tiraha) on the summit of the Ruahine Range in Block III,
Umutoi Survey District, being also a point on the boundary
of the Ruahine Rabbit District hereinbefore described and
proceeding westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Te
Hekenga and along the southern boundary of Awarua 1A 3
south to a point in the middle of the Oroua River; thence
generally south-westerly down the middle of that river to
a point on the south-western side of Cheltenham Cross Road
being a point on the north-eastern boundary of Oroua Ward
hereinbefore described; thence generally north-westerly along
that boundary to the middle of the Rangitikei River being a
point on the boundary of the Ruahine Rabbit District herein-
before described; thence generally north-easterly, south-
easterly, and southerly along the generally north-western,
north-eastern, and eastern boundaries of that district to the
point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF OROUA WARD
All that area in the Ruahine Rabbit District, Borough of
Feilding and Oroua County, containing an area of 129,500
acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a
point in the middle of the Rangitikei River in line with the
eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XIV, Ongo Survey
District, being a point on the boundary of the Ruahine Rabbit
District hereinbefore described, and proceeding southerly to
and along the eastern boundaries of Section 5 and 14, Block
XIV, aforesaid, to and westerly along the southern boundary
of the said Section 14 to the northernmost corner of Lot 4,
D.P. 2617; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern
boundaries of that lot and Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 2617, and the
production of the last-mentioned boundary across Williamsons
Road to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 12,
D.P. 2617, Lots 1 and 3, D.P. 23106, Lot 2, D.P. 4220, and
the south-western side of Wilsons Road, along a right line
to and along the south-western side of a public road forming

the north-eastern boundaries of Section 95, sub-division E,
Manchester District, and Lot 90g, D.P. 218, and Lots 1 and
2, D.P. 22772, along a right line across McKays Road to
and along the south-western side of Cheltenham Cross Road
crossing the Awahuri-Mangaweka via Kimbolton Road and
the Oroua River and Taonui Road to and along the north-
eastern boundaries of Sections 51 and 52, Subdivision H,
Manchester District, along a right line across Valley Road to
and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 15 and
16, Subdivision K, Manchester District, Lots 17A and 17B,
D.P. 537, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 541, the abutment of Watershed
Road, the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 13 and 12,
Subdivision L, Manchester District, a right line across the
Ashhurst-Pohangina road to and along the north-eastern
boundary of Section 11, Subdivision L, aforesaid, and its
production across the Pohangina River to and along the
north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 239, to easternmost
corner of that lot; thence south-westerly along the south-
eastern boundary of the said Lot 2, crossing Saddle Road,
to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 6632,
and Section 1, Subdivision X, Manchester District, and the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
the Manawatu River being a point on the boundary of the
Ruahine Rabbit District, aforesaid; thence south-westerly,
generally north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-
eastern, generally south-western and north-western boundaries
of that district to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF POHANGINA WARD
All that area in the Ruahine Rabbit District, Pohangina
County and part Woodville County, containing 165,800 acres,
more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station
2 (Tiraha) on the summit of the Ruahine Range in Block
III, Umutoi Survey District, being a point on the boundary
of the Ruahine Rabbit District hereinbefore described and
proceeding westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Te
Hekenga and along the southern boundary of Awarua 1A 3
South to a point in the middle of the Oroua River; thence
generally south-westerly down the middle of that river to a
point on the south-western side of Cheltenham Cross Road
being a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Oroua
Ward hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly along that
boundary and south-westerly along the south-eastern boun-
dary of that ward to the middle of the Manawatu River
being a point on the boundary of the Ruahine Rabbit District
aforesaid; thence south-easterly and generally north-easterly
along that boundary to the point of commencement.
