No. D.7387: The Reception of Sound and Television Broadcasting
NOTICE is hereby given that the above draft code of recommended practice is being circulated for technical comment and criticism.
All persons who may be affected by this code and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.
The latest date for comment is 16 August 1963.

New Zealand Standard Specification Reviewed and Proposed for Revocation
NOTICE is hereby given that N.Z.S.S. 351:1941, Regenerated Lubricating Oil, has been reviewed by a committee of the Standards Council, and has been recommended for revocation.
Any person who may be affected by the proposal to revoke this standard specification, and who may wish to object to its revocation is invited to submit comments to the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1, not later than 26 July 1963.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Standards Act 1941 and regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 24 June 1963, revoked the under-mentioned code of practice.
Number and Title of Code of Practice: N.Z.S.S. CP 4: Code of Practice for Timber Preservation.

- The Tariff and Development Board proposes to inquire into and report on the question of what rates of import duty should be imposed on air beds and air cushions covered by or included in the following tariff items:

Camping goods:
656.200.2 Pneumatic mattresses, pillows, and cushions.
Made up textile articles, n.e.i.:

For the purpose of taking evidence on this subject the Board will hold a public inquiry commencing on Thursday, 19 September 1963, at 10 a.m., in Room 102, First Floor, Departmental Building, Stout Street, Wellington.

Any person who intends to tender evidence should comply with the “Notes for the Guidance of Witnesses” which have been prepared by the Board. A copy of these notes may be obtained from the under-named.

Twelve copies of a typewritten statement of the evidence to be tendered, compiled in accordance with those notes, should be lodged with the under-named not later than Thursday, 5 September 1963. Each statement will, in general, need to be presented under oath at the public inquiry by the person tendering it.
