Cancellation of the Reservation Over a Reserve at Rarotonga, Cook Islands

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of January 1963

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 361 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the reservation as a reserve for the purposes of the burial of the dead over the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situated in the District of Avarua in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 12 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of the land taken by Order in Council dated the 20th day of October 1916 which part is now known as section 206, Avarua; as the same is delineated and edged red on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court at Rarotonga under No. 76.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manukau County Council to reclaim from the sea at Pakuranga in the Hauraki Gulf 9 perches of land, more or less, as shown edged red on plan M.D. 11372 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
