Declaring Land to be Crown Land
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described
in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject
to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land described as Maruata 2B 1, situated in
Blocks I and V, Whangarei Survey District, and containing
3 acres and 39 perches, more or less. (M.L. Plan 14347.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 24th day of January 1963.

General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described
in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject
to the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land described as Tihoi 3B 5, 3B 8B 7, 3B
8B 2A 2, part 3B 8B (2B, 3, 4, 6, and 8) Subdivision B,
situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, and XII, Hurakia
Survey District, and Blocks I to VII, IX to XII, XIV, XV, and
XVI, Marotiri Survey District, containing 47,721 acres 3 roods
15 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 40256, M.L. Plans 11234
and 18802.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 24th day of January 1963.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the pur-
poses of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (Whitecliffs Branch).

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Approximate areas of the pieces of additional land taken:
A. R. P. Being
4 2 0 Part Rural Section 14667, and being the balance of
the land in certificate of title, Volume 58, folio
287.
0 3 10 Part Rural Section 14493, and being the balance of
the land in certificate of title, Volume 42, folio
119.
Both situated in Block VIII, Hororata Survey District,
Malvern County.
As the same are more particularly shown coloured sepia on
plan L.O. 18361 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor
at Christchurch.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 23rd day of January 1963.

Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development
of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power
Scheme).
