NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Commercial Development Loan No. 3, 1962

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighteen thousand pounds (£18,000) authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing Northcote shopping centre and industrial areas and releasing deferred payment licence on land, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two-tenths of one penny (0·2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote, comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Renewal Loan No. 2, 1963, £34,300

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £34,300 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repayment of City Council securities maturing on the 1st day of March 1963, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven eight pence (0·078d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 19 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council, held on Tuesday, 22 January 1963.

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL
——
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £53,500 authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment on maturity of that portion of the Borough Development Loan 1952, £75,000, which matures on 18 February 1963, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one and one-half pence (1½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Putaruru, comprising the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on the 17th day of December 1962.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.
