Pursuant to section 8 of the Maori Purposes Act 1934, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Duly nominated by the Arawa Maori Trust Board; and
George Gordon,

Duly nominated by the Tauranga County Council, to be members of the Bledisloe Park Board for a term of three years from the date of this appointment.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
THE lands described in the Schedule hereto are hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

Defining the Limits of the Waimakariri Harbour Pilotage District

Pursuant to Section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Waimakariri Harbour Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act, to be all the waters of the Harbour of Waimakariri comprised within:
(1) Pegasus Bay, bounded seaward by the arc of a circle of two nautical miles radius having as its centre Survey Peg XXVI, S.O. Plan 5546, 104675·5 links north and 12660·3 links west of Mount Pleasant, at the intersection of Harbour Road and Lower Styx Road in Block XVI, Rangiora Survey District;
(2) The Waimakariri River from its mouth to its confluence with Kaiapoi River, and continuing up the Kaiapoi River to the bridge on No. 1 State Highway (High Street - Cookson Street).
As shown edged blue on the plan marked M.D. 11529 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
