Cancellation of the Vesting in the Christchurch City Council
and Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Christchurch and revokes the
reservation for gravel pits over the land described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
Part Reserve 2433, situated in Block XIV, Selwyn Survey
District: Area, 66 acres 2 roods 23-6 perches, more or less.
Comprised in part certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 284.
Part Reserve 2434, situated in Block XIV, Selwyn Survey
District: Area, 27 acres 3 roods 10-5 perches, more or less.
Comprised in part certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 284.
As shown on plan marked L. and S. 6/5/415A deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

Licensing Oliver Lawson Brain to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Bed of the Kaituna River as a Site for a Jetty and
Water Intake Pipe
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Oliver Lawson Brain, of Te Puke
(hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his
executors, administrators, or assigns unless the context requires
a different construction), to use and occupy a part of
the bed of the Kaituna River, as shown on plans marked
M.D. 11044 and M.D. 10778 and deposited in the office of the
Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting
and maintaining a jetty and water intake pipe thereon, as
shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed
by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations
1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto. - The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds
(£2) and the annual sum so payable one pound ten shillings
(£1 10s.). - The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
day of April 1963.

Licensing Norval Frederick Marley to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Breaker Bay,
Wellington, as a Site for a Slipway
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Norval Frederick Marley (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include his executors,
administrators, or assigns unless the context requires a different
construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and
bed of the sea at Breaker Bay, Wellington, as shown on plan
marked M.D. 8863 and deposited in the office of the Marine
Department of Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a
slipway thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be
held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations
1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as
applicable, apply hereto. - The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds
(£3) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3). - The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day
of June 1963.

Declaring Area to be an Access Lane for the Purposes of the
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the
Minister of Marine hereby declares that for a period of two
years from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the
conditions set out in the First Schedule hereto, the area of
water described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be an
access lane and that within such access lane regulations 11
and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply.
FIRST SCHEDULE
The access lane shall be marked as follows:
- Brightly painted marker buoys each 100 yards apart
commencing 100 yards from high-water mark shall be suitably
moored along each side of the access lane. - At high-water mark on the foreshore at each side of the
access lane in line with the marker buoys there shall be placed
a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft
painted white with black letters. - The aforesaid notice boards shall contain the following
notice:
"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water
skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
Bathers Keep Out."
SECOND SCHEDULE
All that area of water at Duder's Beach in the Hauraki Gulf
bounded on the sides by parallel lines 150 yards apart extending
in an easterly direction 200 yards from the edge of the
water with the northern boundary commencing 1 chain from
the reef at the northern end of the beach.

Classification of Roads in Hobson County
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations
1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes
the Warrant dated the 1st day of June 1950† which relates to
roads in Hobson County, and hereby approves the Hobson
County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set
out in the Schedule hereto.

HOBSON COUNTY
Roads Classified in Class Two
Bayly's Coast Road.
Dargaville-Tangaihi road (from the Dargaville Borough
boundary to Tangaihi Bridge).
Mittai-Tauraroa road (from the No. 12 State Highway
(Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville) to the county boundary).
Tangowahine Valley Road (from the No. 14 State Highway
(Whangarei-Dargaville) to Karaka-Tutamoe road).
Roads Classified in Class Three
All roads under the control of the Hobson County Council
other than those classified in class two.
