Manufacturing Retailers’ Licences Under the Sales Tax Act, Granted, Surrendered, or Revoked (A/L 1962/4)

PURSUANT to the Sales Tax Act 1932–33, the Comptroller of Customs hereby gives notice that licences to act as manufacturing retailers have been granted to the licensees mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and that licences to act as manufacturing retailers granted to the licensees mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto have been surrendered or revoked.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Hauraki Plains (Notice No. Ag. 7698)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Hauraki Plains County Council on the 12th day of November 1962, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of special order to declare the following noxious weeds, listed in the First Schedule to the said Act, to be noxious weeds in the County of Hauraki Plains.

Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Spiny broom (Calycotome spinosa).

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Gisborne Gas Works and Related Trades Employees’ Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 2002, situated at Gisborne, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Bay of Islands Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 15 September 1930 and published in the Gazette, 25 September 1930, Volume III, page 2851.
