(a) North-eastward of a line drawn in a 328° true direction running from the south-eastern boundary to the north-western boundary of the lake, commencing at the rocky point where the road to Coleridge turns sharp left at the bluff at the south end of the lake;
(b) South-westward of a line drawn in 328° true direction running from the south-eastern boundary to the north-western boundary of the lake, commencing at a shingle point approximately half a mile north-eastward of the rocky point where the road to Coleridge turns sharp left at the bluff at the south end of the lake.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. On the edge of the water at normal lake level at each end of the boundaries outlined in paragraphs (a) and (b) of the area described in the First Schedule hereto there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted white with black letters:
  2. The aforesaid notice boards shall contain the following notice:

"NOTICE

Motor Launch Regulations 1962

No speed restriction for motor launches for half a mile north-eastward of the rocky point where the road to Cole- ridge turns sharp left at the bluff at the south end of the lake."

Scheme of Control of Manawatu College

PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby approves of the Manawatu College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961 published in the Gazette of 8 June 1961, Volume II page 820:
Provided that:
(a) Clause 10 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:

"Provided that the first such election of members to the Board shall be held as soon as practicable but not later than the last week of the month of June, 1963."

(b) The Schedule to the Standard Scheme shall be read as if paragraph 17 were revoked and the following paragraph substituted therefor:

"(17) On the eighth day after the date of the closing of the poll, the Returning Officer shall open and examine all voting papers duly delivered to him or received by him through the post as aforesaid, and, after rejecting all informal voting papers, shall determine the candidates to be elected (not exceeding the total number to be elected) in the following manner:

"(a) If only one candidate resides on the eastern side of the Manawatu River, the Returning Officer shall declare that candidate to be elected;
"(b) If two candidates reside on the eastern side of the Manawatu River, the Returning Officer shall declare those two candidates to be elected;
"(c) If more than two candidates reside on the eastern side of the Manawatu River, the Returning Officer shall declare the two such candidates who have received the greatest number of votes to be elected;
"(d) Except insofar as any candidates are required to be elected in accordance with sub-paragraph (a), or (b), or (c) of this paragraph, the Returning Officer shall ascertain the candidates who have received the greatest number of votes and shall declare those candidates to be elected."

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Oamaru Branch of the Amalgamated Society of Car- penters and Joiners Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1293, situated at 132 Eden Street, Oamaru, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

I hereby declare the results of elections of members of the New Zealand Dairy Production and Marketing Board, held pursuant to the Dairy Production and Marketing Board Act 1961, to be as follows:

Northern Ward

Mr Ellis Robert Bird, being the only candidate nominated for the election as a member for the Northern Ward, is hereby declared elected.

Eastern Ward

Mr Alfred Lawrence Friis, being the only candidate nomin- ated for the election as a member for the Eastern Ward, is hereby declared elected.

Wellington Ward

Mr Andrew Linton, being the only candidate nominated for the election as a member for the Wellington Ward, is hereby declared elected.
