A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Additional Land at Waikiwi Taken for the Purposes of the Invercargill-Kingston Railway

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Invercargill-Kingston railway on and after the 27th day of May 1963.

Declaring Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Tauranga and Previous Declaration Revoked

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the declaration dated the 15th day of February 1963, and published in Gazette, 28 February 1963, Volume I, page 271, declaring land taken for State housing purposes in the Borough of Tauranga, and, pursuant to section 32 of the said Act, hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes from and after the 27th day of May 1963.
