WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimea County Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500) and authorised to be raised by the Waimea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of the Wakefield Fire Station, the said Waimea County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-twentieths of one penny (³/₂₀d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the Wakefield Urban Fire District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April on each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waimea County Council held on the 11th day of April 1963.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waipukurau Borough Municipal Buildings Supplementary Loan 1962, £1,300
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest on the Municipal Buildings Supplementary Loan 1962, £1,300, authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau Borough Council for the purpose of completing the erection and furnishing of Council Chambers and offices, the said Waipukurau Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·035d. in the pound on all rateable property in the Borough of Waipukurau (on the basis of the unimproved value); such special rate to be an annually recurring rate for a term of 25 years or until the loan is fully repaid.”
I hereby certify the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Waipukurau Borough Council on 23 October 1962.

MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £29,000 authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of increasing the capacity of the Quarry Hill reservoir and improving the existing water reticulation, the said Mosgiel Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven five pence (0·75d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Mosgiel, comprising the whole of the Borough of Mosgiel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 6th day of May 1963.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the above-mentioned Act, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council situated at Te Kuiti, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land who have any objections thereto must state their objections in writing and lodge same at the office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

MINING ACT 1926
In the matter of the Mining Act 1926 and in the matter of an application by Sunshine Bay Development Ltd. for a licence for a water race.
TAKE notice that Sunshine Bay Development Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Invercargill, has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell for a water race licence as specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
LOCALITY of the race and of its starting and terminal points, also description of the land traversed:
(a) Part Run 10, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu Survey District (Crown leasehold).
(b) Section 27, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu Survey District (freehold).
(c) Legal road – Mid-Wakatipu Survey District (half chain road – not formed).
(d) Section 6, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu Survey District.
The proposed pipeline crosses the half chain road at a point marked by Peg T. 1 (shown on the plan filed with the application) approximately 240 ft from the junction of the half chain road on line of boundary of Run 10 and Section 27, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu S.D.; thence by a true bearing of 328° 21′ for a distance of 257 ft to a point marked by Peg T. 2; thence on a true bearing of 330° 49′ a distance of 136 ft, 308° 26′ for 170 ft, and crossing the boundary of Section 27 and Run 10 on a bearing of 278° 00′ for a distance of 152 ft to the point of intake in the Three Mile Creek.
Points of intake: Ninety feet south-west of boundary of Run 10 and Section 27.
Mean depth and breadth: Pipeline to be laid at least 18 in.
Number of heads to be diverted: One-tenth of a head.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Domestic purposes.
The application has been set down for hearing in the Warden’s Court at Cromwell on Wednesday, the 19th day of June 1963, at 10 a.m.
All objections to this application must be lodged with the Mining Registrar at Cromwell at least three days before the date of hearing, and a copy of such objection served on the applicant whose address for service is at the office of its solicitor, L. S. White, 54 Esk Street, Invercargill.
