Exemption of Tractors from the Usual Handbrake Requirements

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby exempts from the requirements of the said regulations, in relation to a parking brake, any tractor fitted with mechanical brakes and equipped with a rachet which locks the brakes on both rear wheels, provided that this device is used for preventing the movement of the vehicle when it rests on a grade.
