Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Chance, Penguin, and Fairy Bays Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for scenic purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Chance, Penguin, and Fairy Bays Scenic Reserve to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds Reserves Board.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Heathcote County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Heathcote, in trust, for that purpose.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Otautau Town Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Otautau and revokes the reservation for water supply purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 15 September 1930, and published in the Gazette, 25 September 1930, Volume III, page 2851, and provisionally registered as No. K. 64113.
