PURSUANT to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, notice
is hereby given that Esso Standard Oil (Australia) Pty. Ltd.
(formerly named Atlantic Union Oil Co. Pty. Ltd.) duly incor-
porated in New South Wales and having its head office for
New Zealand at fifth floor, M.L.C. Building, Hunter Street,
Wellington, intends to cease to have a place of business in
New Zealand at the expiration of three (3) months from
the date of publication of this notice.

The business formerly carried on by Atlantic Union Oil Co.
Pty. Ltd. is carried on by Atlantic Union Oil Co. (N.Z.) Ltd.

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Improvements Loan 1962, £2,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds (£2,500) author-
ised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing share
capital for the Bay of Islands Milk Treatment Co. and heating
in the Kaikohe and District War Memorial Hall, the said
Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
three-sixteenth pence (3/16d.) in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Kaikohe Borough Dis-
trict; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-
yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of March
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a special meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council on
19 December 1962.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Milk Treatment Shares Loan 1962 of £3,500

Notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the above Council
held on the 17th day of December 1962, the following resolu-
tion was passed.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te
Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual loan charges
on a loan of three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500)
authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of acquiring
shares in the Waitomo Milk Treatment Corporation Ltd., the
said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of three-sixteenths of a penny (3/16d.) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te
Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off."
