Redefining the Branding Registration Districts of Waiapu and Opotiki (Notice No. Ag. 7725)
PURSUANT to section 4 (2) of the Stock Amendment Act 1956, the Director, Administration, of the Department of Agriculture hereby declares that the branding registration districts of Waiapu and Opotiki shall hereafter consist of the areas described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Name of Branding Registration District Description
Waiapu All that area comprising the Counties of Waiapu, Uawa, and Matakaoa as constituted from time to time and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area.
Opotiki All that area comprising the County of Opotiki as constituted from time to time and including all boroughs and town districts in and adjacent to that area.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 8—Public Inquiry into Import Duties on Elastic Fabrics and Textile Covered Threads

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 7 of 12 March 1963 gave notice of the Board’s intention to inquire into and report on the question of what rates of import duty should be imposed on certain types of elastic fabrics.

It is hereby notified that this inquiry will also cover the under-mentioned types of fabrics:
Elastic fabrics and trimmings (woven, knitted or crocheted) consisting of textile materials combined with threads of substances having the elastic properties of rubber but not being natural rubber or synthetic rubber as defined in Division 23 of the Tariff.
NOTE—The fabrics and trimmings in question are classified within Groups 652, 653, and 654 according to their character.
- As indicated in Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 7, this inquiry will commence at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 May 1963, and persons intending to tender evidence should conform with that notice.
