A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the street described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to land now held by the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board for soil conservation and river control purposes described in the Second Schedule hereto.

ALL those portions of street situated in the Borough of Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:

0 0 24 Part accretion to street, being part old bed Waipawa River; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 30 Part accretion to street, being part old bed Waipawa River; coloured blue on plan.
0 0 20 Part accretion to street, being part old bed Waipawa River; coloured orange on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3634 (S.O. 3205) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

ALL those pieces of land containing 22 acres 1 rood 11·7 perches situated in Block XI, Waipukurau Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being all the land comprised and described in Proclamation No. 167200, Hawke’s Bay Land District.

ALL that piece of Government road containing 2 roods 14·4 perches situated in Block XI, Mangakahia Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining or passing through part Lot 4, D.P. 23094, being part Section 26 and part Lot 1, D.P. 40927, being part Section 10; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7162 (S.O. 42739) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Selwyn Plantation Board Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the reservation for plantation purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
