Land Agents Audit Regulations 1962—Notice of Exemption

PURSUANT to regulation 13 of the Land Agents Audit Regulations, the Minister of Justice hereby directs that the provisions of those regulations, other than regulation 10, shall not apply in respect of the Gisborne Sheepfarmers Mercantile Co. Ltd., of Gisborne.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

———

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Roads Excluded from Speed Limitation, Closely Populated Locality, and Limited Speed Zones Declared

———

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 29th day of May 1950* which relates to Matamata Borough is hereby revoked.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

  4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

No. 27 State Highway (Mangatarata-Tirau) (from Broadway to the northern boundary of Matamata Borough).

Burwood Road (from the south-western boundary of Matamata Borough to Broadway).

Peria Road (from the north-western boundary of Matamata Borough to a point 15 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Gladstone Road).

Tower Road (from the north-eastern boundary of Matamata Borough to a point 6 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Rawhiti Avenue).
