Price Order No. 1904 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 1899) (Wheat Grown in the South Island of New Zealand)
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, I, Alan Brown McLauchlan, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Industries and Commerce acting under a delegation from the Price Tribunal, hereby make the following price order:

This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1904 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1899* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

This order shall come into force on the 8th day of March 1963.

The principal order is hereby amended by revoking subclause 10 (2) thereof, and substituting the following subclause:
“(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subclause (1) hereof, where any wheat subject to this order is sent to the North Island of New Zealand and there sold the maximum price (sacks extra) that may be charged or received by any broker on sale to a distributor buying for the purposes of resale shall be determined as follows:
“(a) For wheat sold in sacks—
Where the Distributor’s Port is Maximum Price per Bushel
Auckland .. .. 14 4
Castlecliff .. .. 14 4
Mount Maunganui .. 14 4
Where the Distributor’s Port is Maximum Price per Bushel
Napier .. .. 14 5
New Plymouth .. 14 5
Wellington .. 13 11
“(b) For wheat sold in bulk—
The appropriate price fixed by paragraph (a) hereof reduced by 5½d. per bushel.
“Provided that the charges referred to in subclause 11 (1) (d) of this order shall have no application with respect to the prices referred to in this subclause.”
Dated at Wellington this 6th day of March 1963.
