Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 11th day of March 1963.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Invercargill City Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for scenic purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes, and, further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, in trust, for that purpose.

Licensing Paul Ambrose Bennetts to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Harbour at Opoutere, Wharekawa Harbour, as a Site for a Boat Hauling-out Area

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Paul Ambrose Bennetts (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Opoutere, Wharekawa Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11306 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of a boat hauling-out area, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. The licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable shall be one pound (£1).
3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1963.
4. The licensee shall be responsible to make good any erosion caused by the removal of stones and boulders from the site.

Notice to Make Returns of Land Under the Land and Income Tax Act 1954

Pursuant to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:

1. A return of land held as at noon on 31 March 1963 is required from every person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, where the total unimproved value exceeds £6,000.
2. Returns are required to be delivered or forwarded to the district office of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, where the taxpayer’s records are filed, not later than 7 April 1963.
3. Return forms are available at all district offices of the Taxes Division, Inland Revenue Department, and at all post offices.
4. Any person or company failing to furnish a return within the prescribed time is liable to a fine not exceeding £100 or not less than £2.
