RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fairfield County Town Drainage Loan 1962 of £62,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taieri County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £62,000 authorised to be raised by the Taieri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a sewerage and sewage treatment scheme for the Fairfield County Town, the said Taieri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 6·8132 pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Fairfield County Town, comprising the whole of the Fairfield County Town, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NGARUAWAHIA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Improvement Loan 1962, £71,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £71,500 authorised to be raised by the Ngaruawahia Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of installing a filtration plant, erecting a reservoir, and carrying out other improvements to the water supply system, the said Ngaruawahia Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of sixpence (6d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Ngaruawahia; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid up.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), to be known as the Redemption Loan (No. 3) 1962, £20,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting the deficiency in sinking funds available to redeem the Waterfront Roadway (Tamaki) Loan 1933, £100,000, Issue of £40,000, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighteenth of one penny (1/18 of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of forty-three thousand four hundred pounds (£43,400), to be known as the Redemption Loan (No. 4) 1962, £43,400, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waterworks Development Additional Loan 1952, £93,500, which matures on 24 March 1963, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eleventh of one penny (1/11 of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of seventy thousand pounds (£70,000), to be known as the Albert Street Parking Building Loan 1962, £70,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of constructing the Albert Street Parking Building and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of one penny (¹⁄₁₀ of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the local authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of rural houses, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nine pence in the pound (0·19d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
