Privy Council Meeting
At the Court at Government House, Wellington,
12 February 1963
This day HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN was pleased to hold a
Council at 8.30 p.m.
There were present:
His ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE PHILIP, DUKE OF
EDINBURGH
The Right Honourable Walter Nash.
The Right Honourable Sir Michael Adeane.
The Right Honourable Keith Jacka Holyoake (acting Lord
President).
The Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough.
The Right Honourable Sir Kenneth Macfarlane Gresson.
The Right Honourable Sir Kenneth Macfarlane Gresson,
K.B.E. (President of the New Zealand Court of Appeal),
having been appointed a Member of Her Majesty's Most
Honourable Privy Council on the 17th day of January 1963,
was, by Her Majesty's Command, sworn, and took his place
at the Board accordingly.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Manurewa
to the Purposes of a Street and Revoking a Previous Pro-
clamation
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 1st
day of December 1961 and published in the Gazette of the
same year at page 1859, allocating land taken for railway
purposes at Manurewa to the purposes of a street, and hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette be-
come a street and that the said street shall be under the
control of the Manurewa Borough Council and shall be main-
tained by the said Council in like manner as other public
highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Both situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District,
Borough of Manurewa. (S.O. 43821.)
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 18270 deposited in the office of the Minister of
Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above men-
tioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of February 1963.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 18th day of February 1963.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 18th day of February 1963.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 36'3 perches situated
in Block III, Oero Survey District, Patangata County, Hawke's
Bay R.D., and being part Section 4; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 7047
(S.O. 3518) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 7th day of February 1963.
