TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of the Timaru Borough Town Planning Scheme No. 1
and its Amendments

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on the 17th day of December 1962, the
date up to which objections may be made as set out in public
notice published in the Timaru Herald newspaper of the 6th
and 15th days of October 1962 and the Gazette of the 11th
day of October 1962, has been extended from the 31st day of
December 1962 to the 31st day of March 1963.

Objections therefore to the reviewed district scheme may be
made by way of written notice in form E prescribed in the
First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect, marked "Objection to District
Scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time
not later than the 31st day of March 1963.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a
period of which public notice will be given.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Scheme, Amendment
No. 2, 1963

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Scheme, Amendment No. 2, 1963,
has been approved in accordance with the provisions of
section 10 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and
amendments, and shall become operative on the 1st day of
February 1963.

The amendment involves a change of zoning of land at
Aramoana. The area zoned "Residential" is slightly increased.
Land previously zoned for rural purposes is rezoned
"Industrial Intermediate", and two other areas previously
"Rural" are designated for Harbour Board purposes.

Copies of map Reg. 3/A showing the amendment have been
deposited in the offices of the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional
Planning Authority, Dunedin City Council, the Boroughs of
St. Kilda, Green Island, West Harbour, Port Chalmers,
Mosgiel, the Counties of Taieri, Peninsula, Waikouaiti, and at
the Dunedin Public Library and may be inspected, without
fee, at any time when these places are open to the public.

Hearing of Objections—Petone District Scheme

THE Petone Borough Council hereby gives notice that the
hearing of objections to the district scheme will commence
at the Petone Borough Council Chambers, Jackson Street,
Petone, at 10 a.m. on Monday, the 28th day of January 1963,
and will continue as there arranged from time to time and
place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been
heard.

All persons who wish to be heard in support of or opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly
on the forms provided and at least three days before that
date. Forms for notifying such intention may be had on
application to the undersigned.

The following is a summary of the subject matters of
objections received by the Council:

Against Zoning

Petone Borough Council—Industrial zoning of old river
arm—Part of Lot 1, D.P. 13037, Jackson Street.

Petone Borough Council—Residential zoning of Lot 88, D.P.
412, corner of Campbell Terrace and Victoria Street.

Petone Borough Council—Special residential zoning over the
whole of the borough.

Petone Borough Council and Wellington Regional Planning
Authority—Rural zoning of water catchment area.

Arctic Ice Cream, Ltd.—Residential zoning of Lot 11, D.P.
355, and Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 17261, Peel Street.

J. Parsons—Industrial zoning of Lot 3, D.P. 7590, Bouverie
Street.

T. Jones—Rural zoning of part of Section 34, Titiroa Moana
Road, and Lot 1, D.P. 13313, Akatea Road.

H. R. Blandford—Industrial zoning of areas adjoining Gear,
Bouverie, Victoria, Fitzherbert, Sydney, and Nelson Streets.

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Change of the Borough of Onehunga District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Council made on 17 December 1962, the Council has
recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in
respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

The changes of the district scheme, as now recommended
by the Council, have been deposited in the Council offices,
118 Queen Street, Onehunga, and are there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any
time when the offices are open to the public.

Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme
may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed
in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning
Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked "Objection to
Scheme Change" and lodged at the office of the Council at
any time not later than 18 February 1963. An appropriate
form for use of objectors is available from the Council offices.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk, in writing, within
a period of which public notice will be given.

amendment (changes in description of certain residential uses,
and changes in bulk and location requirements).

Change No. 2—Subdivisional standards. Code amendment
(changes affecting frontages to rear sites).

Change No. 3—Matipo and Alfred Streets. Map amendment
(change from designation as "Borough Endowment" and
"Reclamation Reserve" to "Industrial C" zoning).

Change No. 4—Princes and Hill Streets. Map amendment.
(change from designation as "Recreation Reserve" to "Industrial B" zoning).

Change No. 5—Scheme statement amendment (deletion of
Schedules of Properties).
