FIRST SCHEDULE
EACH access lane shall be marked as follows:
-
Brightly painted marker buoys each 50 yards apart commencing 50 yards from the edge of the lake at normal lake level shall be suitably moored along each side of the access lane.

At the edge of the lake at normal lake level at each side of the access lane in line with the marker buoys there shall be placed, on orange and black painted posts, notice boards measuring not less than 2 ft 6in. by 2 ft painted orange with black letters.

The aforesaid notice boards shall contain the following notice:
“NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Access lane through which motor launches towing water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
Bathers Keep Out.”
SECOND SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, All that area of water at Two-mile Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 333° true direction 300 yards from the edge of the water, the south-western boundary being 100 yards northward of the jetty in the lake.
Secondly, All that area of water at Four-mile Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 358° true direction 300 yards from the edge of the water, the western boundary being approximately one-third of mile east north-east of Wharewaka Point.

Declaring Area Exempted from Portions of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that, for a period of one year from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL the waters of Lake Arapuni within 200 yards of the eastern lake shore bounded by parallel lines 1 mile apart extending in a 242° (true) direction, the northernmost boundary commencing at a point on the lake shore 6 chains north-west of the Waotu Water Ski Club's clubhouse.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE northernmost and southernmost boundaries of the area set out in the First Schedule shall each be marked as follows:
(a) Brightly painted marker buoys shall be suitably moored at distances of 50 yards, 100 yards, 150 yards, and 200 yards from the edge of the water;
(b) At the edge of the lake at normal lake level at the end of the northernmost boundary shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6in. by 2 ft, painted white with black letters, and containing the following notice:
“NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
No speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers for 1 mile south-east of this notice.”
(c) At the edge of the lake at normal lake level at the end of the southernmost boundary shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6in. by 2 ft, painted white with black letters, and containing the following notice:
“NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
No speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers for 1 mile north-west of this notice.”

Declaring Areas to be Access Lanes for the Purposes of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that, for a period of three months from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, the areas of water firstly to fifteenthly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall respectively be access lanes and that within such access lanes regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply.

SECOND SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, All that area of water at Whangamata Bay, Lake Taupo, bound on the sides by parallel lines 150 yards apart extending in a 246° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the north-eastern boundary commencing 100 yards south-west of the lake end of the western breakwater of the boat marina.
Secondly, All that area of water at Jerusalem Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 150 yards apart extending in a 108° true direction 300 yards from the edge of the water, from the middle of the bay between Omauru Point and Te Ruatakuahi Point.
Thirdly, All that area of water at what is known as Fitz-simmons Bay, Tapaeharuru Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 75 yards apart extending in a 148° true direction 300 yards from the edge of the water, the north-eastern boundary commencing directly opposite the north-eastern boundary of the public reserve.
Fourthly, All that area of water at Five-mile Beach, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 200 yards apart extending in a 271° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the northern boundary commencing approximately three-quarters of a mile south-east of Wharewaka Point.
Fifthly, All that area of water at Rotongaio, Lake Taupo, bounded on the side by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 343° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the south-western boundary commencing approximately 600 yards east north-east of the little stream flowing from Lake Rotongaio into Lake Taupo.
Sixthly, All that area of water at Hatepe, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 308° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the north-eastern boundary commencing approximately 800 yards south south-west of the Hinemaiaia Stream mouth.
Seventhly, All that area of water at Motutere Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 338° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the north-eastern boundary commencing 100 yards south-west of the south-western end of Bulli Point.
Eighthly, All that area of water at Mission Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 360° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the western boundary commencing approximately 1 mile east north-east of Mission Point.
Ninthly, All that area of water at Tauranga-Taupo, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 75 yards apart extending in a 018° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the eastern boundary commencing approximately 400 yards westward of Tauranga-Taupo River mouth.
Tenthly, All that area of water at Motuoapa Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 060° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, in the south-west corner of the bay.
Eleventhly, All that area of water at Stump Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 018° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the eastern boundary being approximately 1 mile south-east of the main mouth of the Tongariro River.
Twelfthly, All that area of water at Pukawa Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 030° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the south-eastern boundary commencing at a point 50 yards north-east of the rocks at the south end of Pukawa Bay.
Thirteenthly, All that area of water at Wild Fish Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 75 yards apart extending in a 158° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the eastern boundary being 600 yards west of Te Rae Point.
Fourteenthly, All that area of water at Whanganui Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 068° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the southern boundary commencing 50 yards from the south end of the beach.
Fifteenthly, All that area of water at Waihaha Bay, Lake Taupo, bounded on the sides by parallel lines 100 yards apart extending in a 133° true direction 200 yards from the edge of the water, the south boundary commencing 50 yards from the southern end of the beach.
