The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957,
Amendment No. 35


PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of
Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive
    List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 35 and shall be read
    together with and deemed part of the Control of Prices
    (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred to as the
    principal notice).
  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its publication in the Gazette.
  3. The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of
    the services set out in the Schedule hereto.
  4. The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended by
    omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the services
    referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which, pur-
    suant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.

Removing a Maori Warden from Office Under the Maori
Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945


PURSUANT to section 11 (2) of the Maori Social and Economic
Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby
declares the following Maori Warden appointed under the
said Act hereby removed from office.

Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940


PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified
in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940


PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of
clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as
they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not
apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu
thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy
trade motor in the course of their employment for the
employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but
shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18
years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Road Excluded from Speed Limitation and Limited Speed
Zone Declared


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives notice as follows:

That the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section
36 of the Transport Act 1949 and is hereby declared to be
a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regula-
tions 1956.*

The Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in Common
Fund) Notice 1962


PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957,
the Minister of Finance hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Public Trust Office
    (Investment Agencies in Common Fund) Notice 1962.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
    January 1963.
  2. The rate of interest that may be paid by the Public
    Trustee on moneys invested by the Public Trustee as agent
    of any principal in the Common Fund of the Public Trust
    Office pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act
    1957 shall be 4½ per cent per annum.
  3. Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect the rate
    of interest that may be paid on any moneys so invested
    before the date of the coming into force of this notice.
