Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 17th day of December 1962.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 1·1 perches situated in the City of New Plymouth, Taranaki R.D., being part Lot C, D.P. 1790, being part Section 27, Fitzroy District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 6772 (S.O. 9338) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Glenfield and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
