The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Specification for Paua Shell Jewellery (N.Z.S.S. 610:1949)

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D7191.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 7 December 1962.

NOTE—The proposed amendment makes provision for the use of adhesives for mounting purposes.

Classification of State Highway

———

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport, as required by the National Roads Board, hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 18th day of December 1961† in so far as it applies to the portions of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) within Halswell and Waimairi Counties described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby declares that the portions of the said State highway shall belong to the class as set out in the said Schedule.
