PURSUANT to section 4 of the Potato Growing Industry Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to reappoint

Alexander Bell Donald

to be a member of, and representative of the New Zealand Grain, Seed, and Produce Merchants Federation Inc. on, the Potato Board for a term of three years commencing on the 16th day of October 1962.

Notice of Appointment of Public Trustee as Manager of Unclaimed Property

PURSUANT to section 80 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, notice is hereby given that, by an order made by the Supreme Court at Invercargill on the 25th day of October 1962, the Public Trustee was appointed as manager of the property described in the Schedule hereto under Part V of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the Town of Fernhill Village containing 1 acre 3 roods 23 perches more or less, being Town Section 1, Block II, on the public map of the said town, and being also the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 31, folio 271, Southland Registry (the registered proprietor being Patrick Hannon of Winton, labourer, to whom this land was granted on the 20th day of July 1883).

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

———

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
