Exemption from Safety Chains

PURSUANT to regulation 25A (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby exempts from the provisions of regulation 60 of the Traffic Regulations 1956 any motor vehicle of the type specified in the Schedule hereto while used exclusively in the manner described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

ANY cargo trailer owned and operated by the Auckland Harbour Board and used exclusively in connection with the loading and unloading of ships’ mails, cargo, and passengers’ baggage on the Auckland Wharves, and used on a public highway only when proceeding unladen from one wharf to another or from its usual place of storage or the repair depot to a wharf and in returning to that place of storage or repair depot.

Land in the Nelson Land District Acquired as Permanent State Forest Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

ALL those areas situated in the Waimea County containing 911 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part Section 86, Square 23, Block XI, Wakapuaka Survey District; part Section 1, Block VI, Section 3, part Sections 1, 2, and 6, Block VII, Section 6 and part Section 12, Block X, Sections 2, 7, and 98, Block XI, Wakapuaka Survey District. All certificates of title, Volume 17, folio 266, Volume 22, folios 120 and 122, Volume 39, folio 291, Volume 51, folio 270, Volume 106, folio 130. Balance certificates of title, Volume 17, folio 264, Volume 22, folio 117, Volume 27, folio 144, Volume 31, folio 274, Volume 50, folio 90.
