Supreme Court Sittings 1963

WE, three of the Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers vested in us by the Judicature Act 1908, hereby appoint that during the year 1963 sittings for the trial of criminal and civil cases and causes under the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act 1928, shall be held for the respective judicial districts hereinafter mentioned at the Supreme Court House or the Courthouse as the case may be, at the places hereinafter specified, commencing at the times hereinafter mentioned:

PROVISION AS TO HOLIDAYS
If any of the days above appointed for sittings shall be a public holiday the sittings shall commence on the first day after the day so appointed which is not a holiday. It shall be lawful for any one or more Judges of the Supreme Court to order that the Supreme Court and the offices thereof at any place shall be closed for any public or proclaimed holiday in the district.

Long Vacation: 1962–1963: Thursday, 20 December 1962, to Thursday, 31 January 1963, both inclusive, 1963–1964: Friday, 20 December 1963, to Friday, 31 January 1964, both inclusive.

Easter Vacation: 1963: Thursday, 11 April 1963, to Saturday, 20 April 1963, both inclusive.

Classification of Roads in Eyre County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 5th day of December 1950† as relates to the roads described in the Schedule hereto and hereby approves the Eyre County Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.
