PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the licence granted by Order in Council of the 20th day of January 1954* to Otakou Fisheries Ltd. for a shed on the foreshore at Karitane by inserting after the expression “M.D. 2593” the expression “and M.D. 9940”.

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 October 1962.

SCHEDULE
Boroughs—Alexandra, Blenheim, Carterton, Kaiapoi, Mount Roskill, Otaki.
Counties—Lake, Levels, Mangonui, Ohinemuri, Paparua Waimarino, Wairarapa South, Wairewa.

Officers Authorised to Attest the Signatures of Maoris to Instruments of Alienation and to Instruments Under the Chattels Transfer Act 1924

PURSUANT to sections 222 and 464 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby notify and declare that:

Joseph Rex Mosen, Resident Officer, Hawera, and Selwyn Harry Peters, Estates and Housing Officer, Whangarei,

being officers in the service of the Crown employed by the Department of Maori Affairs in the positions set out opposite their names, are authorised to attest, in accordance with the provisions of the said sections 222 and 464, the signatures of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land and to instruments by way of security within the meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government this 21st day of September 1962.

Notice of Intention to Issue a Proclamation Closing a Street in the Town of Naseby and Vesting the Land in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

H. E. BARROWCLOUGH, Administrator of the Government
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby give notice that it is my intention, after the expiration of three months from the date hereof, to issue a Proclamation closing the street described in the Schedule hereto and declaring the land to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Plans showing this land are deposited in the offices of the Town Clerk, Naseby, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, and the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, where they may be inspected during office hours free of charge.

Any objections to the proposals are to be made in writing addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin, on or before the 15th day of January 1963.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—NASEBY BOROUGH
STREET passing through Section 49 and adjoining Sections 46, 50, and 51 and part Sections 15 and 16 and Crown land, Block II, Town of Naseby: Area, 32·4 perches.
