Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Auckland City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for that purpose.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine, with the consent of the licensees, hereby revokes as from 1 September 1962 the licence of 15 November 1961 published in the Gazette, 23 November 1961, page 1815, licensing Alexander Benjamin Orr, Graham Robert Glass, and Marie Doreen Glass to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waiomu, Firth of Thames, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11051 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a boat ramp thereon as shown on the said plan.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Paku Estates (Tairua) Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Tairua Harbour on the Coromandel Peninsula, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11258 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department, Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of September 1962.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Lance Irwin Anderson and Irwin Albert Anderson of Cheviot (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Port Robinson, Cheviot County, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11219 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department, Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Waiomu Boat Club (Inc.) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Waiomu, Firth of Thames, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11348 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a boat ramp thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby prescribes that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the licensee for the use of the said boat ramp.

DUES
EVERY person who shall use the said boat ramp with any boat shall pay to the licensee for the use thereof as follows: that is to say:

For boats up to 14 ft a sum of 2s. 6d. each way.

For boats 14 ft and over a sum of 5s. each way.

Scheme of Control of Waiuku College
——
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby approves of Waiuku College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961, published in the Gazette of 8 June 1961, Volume II page 820:
Provided that clause 10 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that the first such election of members to the Board shall be held as soon as convenient but not later than the first week of the month of May 1963.”

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Wool Industry Act 1944, the New Zealand Wool Board hereby fixes the following rates of the levy to be charged on all wool which is produced in New Zealand and which, during the season commencing on the 1st day of October 1962, is exported from New Zealand or is delivered to a wool manufacturer for use in New Zealand:
(a) For each bale ....... ....... 7 6
(b) For each fadge ....... ....... 3 9
(c) For each bag or sack ....... ....... 1 3
