Licensing Valmai Muir, Anthony Lee Gould, Frederick Glover,
and Lewknor Stenning Johnson to Use and Occupy a Part
of the Bed of Lake Rotoehu at Otautu Bay as a Site for
a Jetty
———
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Valmai Muir, Anthony Lee Gould,
Frederick Glover, and Lewknor Stenning Johnson (hereinafter
called the licensees, which term shall include their adminis-
trators, successors or assigns, unless the context requires a
different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed
of Lake Rotoehu at Otautu Bay, as shown on plan marked
M.D. 11157 and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a
jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and
enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and
conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
tions 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto. - The premium payable by the licensees shall be one pound
(£1) and the annual sum so payable one pound (£1). - The term of this licence shall be 14 years from 1 Septem-
ber 1962. - Members of the public shall be permitted to use the
structure at all reasonable times.

Scheme of Control of Rangitahi College
———
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the
Minister of Education hereby approves of Rangitahi College
being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of
Control for Secondary Schools 1961 published in the Gazette
of 8 June 1961, Volume II, page 820:
Provided that:
(a) Clause 7 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as
if the words “city, borough, or county” were omitted
and the words “city, borough, town, or county” were
substituted therefor.
(b) The said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the clause
numbered 8A set out in the Schedule hereto were
inserted after clause 8.
(c) Clause 10 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as
if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that the first such election of members
to the Board shall be held as soon as practicable,
but not later than the first week of the month of
May 1963.”
(d) Clause 18 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read
as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that every member appointed or elected
for the first term of office of the Board shall hold
office until the 31st day of May 1966, whether or
not that year is the third year after the year of his
appointment or election.”

NEW CLAUSE FOR STANDARD SCHEME
“8A. The provisions of clauses 7 and 8 relating to the appoint-
ment of members by the Council of a city, borough, town, or
county shall apply with appropriate modifications in the case
of the appointment of a member by the School Committee of
the Kaingaroa Forest Public School and also in the case of
the appointment of a member by the School Committees of
the Te Whaiti Maori School and the Minginui Forest Public
School.”

The Import Control Exemption Withdrawal Notice (No. 2) 1962

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938* the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Withdrawal Notice (No. 2) 1962.
(2) This notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of July 1962. - The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Schedule hereto included in the exempting notice shown in that Schedule are hereby withdrawn.
