Road Excluded from Speed Limitation

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

1. That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 29th day of August 1961,* which relates to Napier City is hereby revoked.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.

SITUATED within Napier City—

No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) (from Kennedy Road to the Meeanee (or county) drain). Kennedy Road (from the No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to the Meeanee (or county) drain). Wharerangi Road (from the No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to a point 8 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from the said State Highway). Pandora Road.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956†.
