Officers Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory
Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act
1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased
to authorise the holders for the time being of the offices in
the service of the Crown specified in the Schedule below to
take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Board Appointed to Have Control of Awamangu Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints

to be the Awamangu Domain Board to have control of the

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage, and
Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Automobile
Association (Canterbury) Incorporated to control and manage, and revokes the reservation for plantation purposes over
the land described in the Schedule hereto.

of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution
passed by the Ashburton Gorge Rabbit Board on the 29th
day of May 1962.

RESOLUTION

"THAT the district of the Board be divided into two wards
and that four persons be elected from each of the two
wards so created."

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment
No. 33

Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of
Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices
    (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 33, and shall be
    read together with and deemed to be part of the Control
    of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred
    to as the principal notice).
  2. This notice shall come into force on the 30th day of
    August 1962.
  3. The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of
    the goods set out in the Schedule hereto.
  4. The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended by
    omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods
    referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which,
    pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer
    applies.

SCHEDULE

Mash, poultry, in all forms, including basic poultry ration.
Prepared poultry foods other than wheat, bran, pollard, and
other than mixed grains which include wheat.

Roads Excluded From Speed Limitation and Limited Speed
Zones Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That so much of the Warrant under section 3 of the
    Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 25th day of
    August 1937,* and the Warrant under section 3 of the Motor
    Vehicles Amendment Act 1936, dated the 17th day of February
    1949†, which relate to that portion of the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth), formerly known
    as the Hamilton-Te Kuiti State Highway No. 8 and the Great
    South Road, in Te Awamutu Borough, are hereby revoked.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36
    of the Transport Act 1949 and are hereby declared to be
    limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations
    1956‡.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Te Awamutu Borough—

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the northern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough
to a point 2 chains measured southerly generally along the said
State highway from Wainui Avenue).
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from the southern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough
to a point 8 chains measured northerly generally along the said
State highway from Bridgmans Road).
