Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work in Block
IV, Rangiora Survey District, and Not Required for That
Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day of August
1962.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

RAILWAY land declared Crown land being:

All that parcel of land containing 37 perches, more or less
being Lot 11, D.P. 71, being part Rural Section 890, Mandeville
District, and being all the land comprised and described

part of the land in Memorial of Proclamation No. 46367
taking land for the Rangiora - Oxford Branch line Railway
in Gazette, 1876, page 272, and shown coloured pink on plan
P.W.D. 2698, Sheet 3.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan
L.O. 7265 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways
at Wellington, and thereon shown coloured pink.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District to be
Crown Land

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines
hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is declared to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land containing 1,162 acres 3 roods 33.6
perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 3, 6, and 7,
Block I, Newcastle Survey District, and being the balance of
land in certificate of title, Volume 420, folios 55 and 56, but
excepting therefrom all coal, fireclay, and other minerals.
