Stopping Government Road in Block VII, Omapere Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of Government road containing 1 rood 7·3 perches situated in Block VII, Omapere Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through parts Allotment 17, Waiwera Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5749 (S.O. 41969) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of July 1962.

Defining Maori Land Court Districts
COBHAM, Governor-General
ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of August 1962
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 23 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
1.(1) This order may be cited as the Maori Land Court Districts Order 1962.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
2. The Maori Land Court districts constituted by Order in Council made on the 29th day of February 1956 and published in the Gazette of the 8th day of March 1956 at page 305 are hereby abolished and the said Order in Council is hereby revoked.
3. (1) New Zealand is hereby divided into the Maori Land Court districts referred to in the Schedule to this order.
(2) The name of each Maori Land Court district shall be the name appearing in the Schedule to this order at the head of the description of that district.

SCHEDULE
THE TOKERAU MAORI LAND COURT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the Kaipara Harbour entrance and proceeding north-easterly generally along the middle of the said entrance and

the middle of the Wairoa River Estuary to and up the middle of the Oruawharo, Topuni, and Hakaru Rivers to a point in line with the southern boundary of Allotment 193, Oruawharo Parish, situated in Block IV, Otamatea Survey District; thence easterly generally along the generally southern boundaries of Allotments 193, 31, 30, 29, 242, part 22, crossing the intervening Pritchards Road, part Allotment 21, along part of the southern boundary of part Allotment 18, along a right line across the said Pritchards Road, to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of part Allotment 18, shown on D.P. 26309, along another right line across the said Pritchards Road, to and along another portion of the southern boundary of part Allotment 18, and still easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 42988, along the northern side of the public road forming the northern boundary of Allotment N. 43, along the southern boundaries of Allotments 12, 11, and 10 to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 10, situated in Block I, Pakiri Survey District, all the aforesaid allotments being of Oruawharo Parish; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Allotment 10, to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 50, Mangawhai Parish, and easterly along the southern side of the public road forming the southern boundary of Allotment E. 78, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment; thence again northerly along a right line to and along that eastern boundary, the eastern boundary of Allotment 16, and easterly along the southern boundary of Allotment 31 and that boundary produced to and down the middle of Mangawhai Stream, and the middle of the Mangawhai Estuary to the sea coast; thence north-westerly, westerly, and south-easterly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement and including all islands adjacent to the coast between Great Barrier Island and North Cape.

THE AUCKLAND MAORI LAND COURT DISTRICT
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in the middle of the Kaipara Harbour entrance, being a point on the boundary of the Tokerau Maori Land Court District hereinbefore described, and proceeding north-easterly generally along that district boundary to the sea coast at the middle of the mouth of the Mangawhai Estuary; thence south-easterly generally along the sea coast to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 82, Parish of Koheroa in Block VI, Wharekawa Survey District; thence generally westerly along the northern and western boundaries of that allotment crossing and recrossing the Miranda-New Brighton Coast Road, to a point in line with the middle of Allotment 231 (formerly part of a public road); thence along the middle of a public road, to and along the middle of the said Allotment 231 and that line produced to and along the middle of Miranda Boundary Road and the production of the middle line of that part which forms the northern boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 33494, to and along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Allotment 213, being a series of right lines through Lot 1, D.P. 1466, and Lot 3, D.P. 33494, to and along the middle of a public road, to and along the middle of a strip of land being that part of Wharekawa 1 Block between Lot 15, D.P. 31704, Lots 3 and 1, D.P. 27867, and Lot 13, D.P. 31704, to and along the middle of the public road which intersects Lots 23, 22, and 21, D.P. 7211, and forms the northern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 33468, and Allotments 157 and 158, along the middle of the Pokeno-Miranda Road to and along right lines passing through Section 2, Block XVI, Opaheke Survey District (formerly closed road and now parts Lot 11 on D.P's 7211 and 16643), to and again along the middle of another part of the Pokeno-Miranda Road to the middle of the Mangatangi Stream; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that stream, the middle of the Maramarua River, and the middle of the Whangamarino River to a right line between the south-western corner of Allotment 17, all the aforesaid allotments being of the Parish of Koheroa and a point on the left bank of the Waikato River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 93, Parish of Onewhero; thence westerly along that right line to and along the aforesaid left bank of the Waikato River, part of which is the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 38, Parish of Koheroa (Tuoro Island), to the sea coast; thence north-westerly along the sea coast to the point of commencement, and including Kawau, Little Barrier, Great Barrier, Rangitoto, Motutapu, Motuihe, Waikheke, and Ponui Islands and all other adjacent Islands.

THE WAIKATO-MANIAPOTO MAORI LAND COURT DISTRICT
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast at its junction with the left bank of the Waikato River, being a point on the boundary of the Auckland Maori Land Court District hereinbefore described, and proceeding north-easterly generally along that district boundary to a point on the sea coast at the north-eastern corner of Allotment 82, Parish of Koheroa, in Block VI, Wharekawa Survey District; thence generally easterly, northerly, and south-easterly along the sea coast to a point on the production of a right line between Trig. Station K and Trig. Station 16¹, both in Block IV, Te Tumu Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that right line to Trig. Station K, a right line to Trig. Station L (Otara) in Block V, Maketu Survey District, a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District, and a right line to Trig. Station 27 (Puwhenua) on the southern boundary of Block XIV, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to the northernmost corner
