Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Golden Bay (Notice No. Ag. 7595)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Golden Bay County Council on the 10th day of July 1962, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to the provisions of section 3 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Golden Bay County Council resolves by way of special order that the noxious weeds as per Schedule below shall be deemed to be noxious weeds within the County of Golden Bay as from the 1st day of September 1962.

Conway Rabbit District Divided Into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 7598)

PURSUANT to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Conway Rabbit Board hereby declares the Conway Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 17th day of November 1948,* to be divided into wards having the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that area of land containing approximately 167,000 acres bounded by a line commencing at a point known as Snowflake on the Seaward Kaikoura Range in Block IX, Greenburn Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly generally along the summit of the said range to Palmer Saddle in Block XI, Acheron Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to the source of the Conway River; thence generally southerly and easterly along the middle line of the said river to its intersection with the mean high water mark of the sea; thence generally northerly and north-easterly along the said mean high water mark to the left bank of the Kowhai River in Block IX, Mount Fyffe Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the left bank of the said river to a point due east of the northernmost corner of part Section 1, Block I, Greenburn Survey District; thence due west along a right line to the said corner of part Section 1; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of Run 212 to the point of commencement.
