Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Hokianga Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said
land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 15 September
1930 and published in the Gazette, 25 September 1930, Volume
III, page 2850.

Capital Issues Control

THE Minister of Finance has given a general consent as from
28 June 1962 to any “issues of capital” (including the formation of a company) to which the Finance Emergency Regulations 1940 (No. 2) applies, except in the following cases where prior application to the Minister of Finance is necessary—
(a) Where an overseas company desires to commence business in New Zealand pursuant to regulation 10; or
(b) Where a New Zealand registered company proposes to issue securities overseas or to make an “issue of capital” overseas.

It will continue to be necessary for prospectuses, etc., issued by companies for circulation overseas to include the notice of disclaimer where the issue requires consent.
