Price Order No. 1879 (Drugs)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following price order:
- This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1879 and shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1962.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This order applies with respect to the drugs, chemicals, and medical preparations referred to in the decisions under the Customs Acts published in the Gazette of 15 March 1962 at page 438 and in respect of which:
(a) Price Order No. 1658* applies; or
(b) An approval under section 16 of the Control of Prices Act 1947, authorising a retail selling price, has been given and is for the time being in force.
MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES
- (1) The maximum retail price at which any of the drugs or other substances to which this order applies may be sold shall be calculated as if the wholesale price of any such drugs or substances at the time of their purchase by the retailer had been assessed after the publication of the decisions referred to in clause 2 hereof and the alterations in duties effected by those decisions had been applicable to the aforesaid wholesale price.
(2) Price Order No. 1658 and any approval referred to in paragraph (b) of clause 2 hereof shall be read and construed and deemed to be amended in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

Classification of Roads in Waitemata County
———
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 19th day of October 1950† as relates to the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Waitemata County Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.

Roads Classified in Class Two
Mairetahi Riding—South Head Road.
Takapuna Riding—Forest Hill Road.
Wainui Riding—Silverdale—Wainui Road.

Special Order Made by Rotorua County Council Altering Riding Boundaries

PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Rotorua County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 23 and section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves by way of special order:
-
That the present division of the County of Rotorua into five ridings is hereby revoked and in lieu hereof the County of Rotorua shall be divided into eight ridings to be called respectively, Kaharoa Riding, Rotoiti Riding, Ngongotaha Riding, Mamaku Riding, Ngakuru Riding, Reporoa Riding, Central Riding, and Rotomahana Riding, which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule set forth hereto.

That the said Rotorua County Council shall consist of 10 members who shall be elected as follows:
(a) The electors of the Kaharoa Riding shall elect one councillor.
(b) The electors of the Rotoiti Riding shall elect two councillors.
(c) The electors of the Ngongotaha Riding shall elect one councillor.
(d) The electors of the Mamaku Riding shall elect one councillor.
(e) The electors of the Ngakuru Riding shall elect one councillor.
(f) The electors of the Reporoa Riding shall elect one councillor.
(g) The electors of the Central Riding shall elect two councillors.
(h) The electors of the Rotomahana Riding shall elect one councillor.
- That this special order shall take effect as from and including the 5th day of September 1962.

KAHAROA RIDING
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle line of State Highway No. 5 with the western boundary of the Rotorua County, in Block X, Rotorua Survey District, and proceeding northerly and easterly generally along the said county boundary as described in Gazette, 1962, page 198, to the eastern side of Kapukapu Road; thence southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern sides of the said road to and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 7 and 8, Block I, Rotoiti Survey District, to the north-western side of Kaharoa Road; thence along a right line crossing the said road to and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block V, Rotoiti Survey District, westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of Section 7, Block V, aforesaid, and along that last-named boundary produced to the southern side of Te Waerenga Road; thence easterly along that roadside to and southerly along the western boundary of Mangorewa Kaharoa No. 12 to the shores of Lake Rotorua; thence westerly and southerly along the lakeshore to south-eastern corner of Waiteti 2A 1A 2A 4 in Block XII, Rotorua Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Waiteti 2A 1A 2A 4, part 2A 1A 2A 5 (roadway), 2A 1A 2A 2, 2A 1A 2A 1, 2A 1A 2A 5, Lots 30, 31, and 46 to the westernmost corner of the said Lot 46; thence along a right line crossing Leonards Road to and south-westerly, southerly, and westerly along the south-eastern, eastern, and southern boundaries of Waiteti 2A 1B 2B 2, and that last-named boundary produced to the middle of the Rotorua-Tauranga Road; thence south-easterly along the middle of that Road to the northern bank of the Waiteti Stream and westerly along that bank to a point in line with the western boundary of Okoheriki 2C 1; thence southerly along a right line to and along the said western boundary and its production to the middle of the Rotorua Branch Line; thence westerly along the middle of the said railway to and westerly along the middle of State Highway No. 5 to the point of commencement.
ROTOITI RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the eastern side of Kapukapu Road with the northern boundary of the Rotorua County, in Block II, Rotoiti Survey District, and proceeding easterly and southerly generally along the said county boundary as described in Gazette, 1962, page 198, to the middle of the Tarawera River in Block III, Ruawahia Survey District; thence westerly up the middle of the said river to and westerly along the northern shores of Lake Tarawera, to and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6B, to and westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of parts Okataina 6B to the easternmost corner of Whakapoungakau 16 No. 2B 2G 1, thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said 16 No. 2B 2G 1; a right line crossing State Highway No. 30, to and along the southern boundary of Whakapoungakau 16 No. 2B 2F to the shores of Lake Rotorua; thence southerly and north-westerly along the eastern and south-western shores of the said lake to the south-eastern corner of Waiteti 2A 1A 2A 4 in Block XII, Rotorua Survey District; thence northerly generally along the generally eastern boundary of the Kaharoa Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.
NGONGOTAHA RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Waiteti 2A 1A 2A 4, on the shores of Lake Rotorua in Block XII, Rotorua Survey District, and proceeding southerly along the said lakeshore to the northernmost corner of part Waikuta 1B 2; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said part 1B 2, to and northerly along the eastern side of Parawai Road, to and westerly along the southern bank of the Te Ahipukahu Stream, to and southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 13, Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District (recreation reserve, Gazette, 1961, page 1745) and that last-named boundary produced to the western side of State Highway No. 5; thence northerly along the said roadside, to and westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of Lot 2 and the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 7245, to the north-western corner of the said part Lot 1;
