PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of and incidental to the provision of main sewerage works and shall vest in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of June 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 170 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the entirety of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, as for a public work under the Public Works Act 1928, for coal mining operations under Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925, and that, notwithstanding section 19 of the Public Works Act 1928, no part of the said land shall be deemed to be excepted out of this Proclamation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of June 1962.
