Cancellation of the Vesting in the Malvern County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Malvern and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for a gravel pit described in the Schedule hereto.

Licensing the Riverton Harbour Board to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea in Riverton Harbour as a Site for a Small-craft Basin, Wall, Launching Ramp, and Boat Hauling-out Area

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Riverton Harbour Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Riverton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11230 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining thereon a small-craft basin, wall, launching ramp, and boat hauling-out area as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1962.

3. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling payable on demand.

Licensing the Akaroa County Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea in Akaroa Harbour as a Site for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Akaroa County Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Akaroa Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11259 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1962.

3. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling payable on demand.

4. This licence is issued without prejudice to any right of access to the sea which the owner of the land adjoining the foreshore may have.

Social Security Amendment Act 1939—Revocation of Maternity Notice

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 13 (4) of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939, Selwyn James Carson, M.B., CH.B., of 135 Colombo Street, Christchurch, has withdrawn his notice that he is unwilling to afford medical services in relation to maternity benefits on the terms provided for in section 13 of the Social Security Amendment Act 1939.

The Maternity Notice relating to the said medical practitioner dated the 2nd day of June 1961* is hereby consequently revoked.

I, Leonard Irwin, Returning Officer appointed under section 10 of the Dairy Production and Marketing Board Act 1961, do hereby declare that John Sydney Hickey, of Opunake, farmer, is the only candidate nominated for the election of a Taranaki Ward member of the New Zealand Dairy Production and Marketing Board, the nominations whereof closed at noon on the 16th day of May 1962.

I therefore declare the said John Sydney Hickey to be duly elected.
