In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of F. C. Cole Construction Co. Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book, signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 22nd day of May 1962 passed a resolution for voluntary winding up; and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, will accordingly be held in the Methodist Board Room on the top floor of Epworth Chambers, 176 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 1st day of June 1962, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon.

Business:
(1) Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors.
(2) Nomination of a liquidator.
(3) Appointment of a committee of inspection (if thought fit).

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

Redemption Loan 1962, £10,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,500 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying a portion of the Pinehaven Water Supply Loan 1953, £43,000, maturing on 1 May 1962, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·144d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 53 Special Rating Area, being portion of the Heretaunga Riding of the Hutt County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Hutt County Council held on 10 May 1962.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

The Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Loan 1961, £6,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westland Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,500 authorised to be raised by the Westland Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme, the said the Westland Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate as follows:

“(i) A rate of 74·4252d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class A in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“(ii) A rate of 62·0208d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class B in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“(iii) A rate of 49·6164d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class C in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“(iv) A rate of 37·2120d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class D in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“(v) A rate of 24·8088d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class E in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and Plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“(vi) A rate of 12·4044d. per acre on the total acreage of all property classified as Class F in the Waitaha Settlement Drainage Scheme Special Rating District as defined in the classification list and Plan No. 901/9 deposited in the office of the said the Westland Catchment Board at Greymouth.

“The special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed by the Westland Catchment Board at its meeting held on the 14th day of May 1962.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

For the Purpose of Providing Interest and Other Charges on the Water Reticulation Loan £140,000, 1954 (£10,000 Portion)

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Water Reticulation Loan £140,000, 1954 (£10,000 portion), authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of water reticulation works in Ward A of the City of Takapuna, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of 0·035d. (decimal nought three five pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in Ward A of the City of Takapuna), and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 (twenty-five) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on the 15th day of May 1962.
