Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Selwyn County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for plantation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn, in trust, for that purpose.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Selwyn County Council Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Selwyn Plantation Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn of the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, from a reserve for a gravel pit to a reserve for plantation purposes and, further, vests the said reserve redescribed in the Second Schedule hereto, in trust for those purposes, subject to the condition that the said reserve shall be controlled and managed by the said Board in accordance with the provisions of the Selwyn Plantation Board Act 1953.

Licensing Bruce Fraser Stewart, Bruce Edward Goodwin, and Herbert Kitchener Murray to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licences and permits Bruce Fraser Stewart, Bruce Edward Goodwin, and Herbert Kitchener Murray (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11197 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensees shall be one pound (£1), and the annual sum so payable shall be one pound (£1).
3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1962.
4. Members of the public shall be permitted to use the slipway at all reasonable times.
